PARALLEL ARCHITECTURES IIIII
Former Bridewell Prison, Leeds Town Hall
Parallel Architectures IIIII extends the context of the former Bridewell prison and the Leeds Town Hall as a ceremonial transformative space where new identities are constructed and performed. The work responds to potential unrealised futures in sites across Leeds connected to the Town Hall and the former prison as a place where time is subtracted and stored, with its intended function removed the subterranean complex exists as a potential space at the junction between reality and fiction.
Parallel Architectures IIIII was exhibited as part of INDEX during Yorkshire Sculpture International 2019
